Important information about Shikshak Sathi Scheme
Office of the District Basic Education Officer, Bahraich has invited online applications from the interested retired council teachers for the purpose of providing additional academic approval in primary, upper primary and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas.
Shikshak Sathi will be selected for the cooperative supervision of the schools. All the retired teachers / teachers from the council schools under the control of Basic Education Council, Uttar Pradesh can make their applications online in the order of the said mandate.
Teacher partner salary
For co-operative supervision, Rs.2500.00 (Rupees two thousand five hundred only) will be payable to the teacher as per the rules for monthly mobility allowance. No other kind of allowance, honorarium etc. will be payable.

Shikshak Sathi Science Education - Bachelor in Biology, Botany (Z.B.C.
cadre)
Shikshak Sathi Hindi Education - Hindi compulsory in the final year of graduation in Arts cadre
Shikshak Sathi English Education - English is compulsory in the final year of graduation in Arts cadre
Shikshak Sathi Social Studies - Subjects prescribed in the Arts cadre are compulsory from Sociology, History, Geography, Civics, Economics, Psychology, Military Science, Statistics and Agriculture.
Shikshak Sathi Mathematics Education - Compulsory in Graduation from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM Cadre)
Qualification for Teacher's Shikshak Sathi
Must have teaching experience of assistant teacher or headmaster in a council primary/upper primary school.
Permissibility of selection for a period up to the age of 70 years from retirement
Preference to State/President Awarded teachers for selection of retired teachers for providing educational cooperative supervision to Council Primary, Upper Primary and Kasturba Gandhi Girls Schools as expected.
No inquiry is in progress and no disciplinary action has been taken in the past.
Selection Procedure
Subject wise written test 60 marks,
Microteaching/teaching performance (10 to 15 minutes per participant) 30 marks,
Interview 10 Marks
Interview
Candidates securing 60 percent or more than 60 percent marks in the written examination, the candidates securing 60 percent or more than 60 percent marks in the microteaching / teaching performance for microteaching will qualify for the interview.
Candidates securing 60% or more than 60% marks in the interview will qualify for the final selection.
After adding the total marks of written examination, microteaching / teaching performance and interview for the candidates who qualify for the final selection, the list of candidates whose marks will be 60 percent or more than 60 percent, only 60 percent in the interview for the selection of teacher companion. OR Candidates having more than 60% marks will qualify for final selection.

How to apply
The name of the post applied for and the subject should be written in bold letters on the top of the envelope of the application form.
It is mandatory to forward the application form from the Block Education Officer (Retired Development Block).
Advertisement date will be considered as the basis for calculation of teaching experience.
The attendance of the teacher will be considered after uploading the Supportive Supervision Report sent by him on the Prerna App and the mobility allowance will be payable accordingly.

The applications forwarded by the Block Education Officer on the prescribed format under the prescribed restrictions are invited by registered post in the office of District Basic Education Officer, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Ballghar, Bahraich Pin Code 271801 up to 12.11.2022.
