Urban Development and Housing Department, Government of Bihar has launched an awareness campaign for better operation of "Prime Minister Street Vendor Self-Reliant Fund".

Eligible candidates can apply for Bihar Government PM SVANidhi.

Under the "Prime Minister Street Vendor Atmanirbhar Nidhi" scheme, financial assistance is given to urban pavement vendors in municipal bodies to promote livelihood in the epidemic arising out of Covid-19.

Grant under this scheme

Under the "Prime Minister Street Vendor Atmanirbhar Nidhi" scheme, loan facility of Rs. 10,000/- with interest subsidy is provided by the banks without any guarantee.

Date: Special campaign is being run from 05 to 20 July, 2022.

Eligibility to take advantage of the scheme:

All such footpath vendors, who have applied for loan in the past, can submit their application by visiting the bank branch on the prescribed date along with bank passbook, Aadhar card and sale certificate (CoV / Identity Card (ID) of the street vendor issued from the civic body. can be disposed of.

Such footpath vendors who sell their goods in urban areas can get the benefit of this scheme.

How to apply

For all such footpath vendors who have not applied yet, a free help desk has been arranged in the municipal body where they can apply.

Pavement vendors themselves can also apply for loan online at www.pmsvanidhi.mohua.gov.in.

All such footpath vendors who have not been surveyed can contact their respective Municipal Corporation / Council / Panchayat and get the Certificate of Sale (CoV) / Identity Card (ID) after getting their survey done.

7% interest subsidy on regular loan repayment of Rs.10,000/- loan without any security

Next time loan up to Rs.20,000/- and again up to Rs.50,000/- on timely repayment

Cashback up to Rs.1,200/- a year on digital transactions
