Uttar Pradesh government is going to provide free food grains to Antyodaya and eligible household ration card holders from today.
Antyodaya and eligible household ration card holders will be provided free food grains under the Food Security Act 2013 NFSA by the state government.
In the first cycle of July, free distribution of food grains will be done from Tuesday i.e. from July 5 to July 15.
Antyodaya card holders will be given 35 kg of grain (20 kg wheat and 15 kg rice) per card.
Free distribution of 5 kg of food grains per unit (3 kg of wheat and 2 kg of rice) will be made to the units belonging to the eligible household card holders.
Ration card holders will have the facility to get food grains under portability.
The last date of delivery will be 15th July.
On this day, distribution will be done through mobile OTP verification to the consumers who cannot get food grains through Aadhaar authentication.
