Jawahar Lal Institute of Post Graduate Medical education & research, JIPMER (An Institution of National Importance under Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India) published the official admission notification for MBBS program. All students who want take admission in MBBS in JIPMER they can fill application form online at the official website of JIPMER.
Selection of the eligible students for the admission in MBBS program will be done through the entrance examination. JIPMER Medical Entrance examination will be held on June 2022 at various examination centers.
JIPMER is situated in Puducherry, under Government of India since the year 1956, is one of the leading Medical Institutions of India. JIPMER imparts Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG) and Super Specialty Medical Training through a working hospital (JIPMER Hospital) . JIPMER has started its JIPMER Karaikal, from the academic session 2021-22 with yearly intake of 50 students. Karaikal is located about 150 km south of Puducherry city

Eligibility criteria for the admission: age Limit – minimum 17 years
Education qualification: Intermediate
The applicant must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology at the qualifying examination.
Selection process: selection of the eligible students for MBBS program will be strictly based on through the Entrance examination. A common entrance test will be held for the admission JIPMER Puducherry and JIPMER Karaikal medical college.

The questions for JIPMER MBBS Entrance Examination 2022 will be based on the syllabus as prescribed by State Board Hr. Sec. and CBSE for XI & XII Standard
Exam will be held online. Total 150 Minute time duration will be given for attempting the question paper. Examination will be conducted in two shifts. First shift examination will be held from 10 am to 12: 30 pm and 2nd shift examination will be held from 3 pm to 5: 30 Pm.
Question paper contains 200 questions from above mentioned subject. All questions will be objective type and MCQ based.
Negative marking will not applicable in this examination. For each correct answer 4 marks will be awarded.
Minimum qualifying cutoff marks for UR, will be 50 percentile and for all other candidates it will be 45 percentile.
