NEST is the acronym of National Entrance Screening Test. NEST is one of the mandatory Entrance exam for those students who wan to take admission in NISER National institute of science education and research Bhubaneswar and university of Mumbai and many other leading colleges like UM DAE CBS Etc. NEST entrance examination will be held on 52 district of all over India.
Important details of NEST 2022 for academic session 2022-23 as are following.

Course name: 5 year Integrated M.SC  Programme In basic science - biology, Chemistry, math, and Physics.

Eligibility Criteria for NEST 2022:
Education qualification: science stream having any combination of Biology/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Physics) at class XI
Candidates who have passed class XII examination or equivalent from any recognized Board in India or appearing in 2022 can appear in NEST 2022 examination.

Age limit:  born after August 01, 2001 for general and OBC candidates for the admission in M.sc program of NISER /CBS. 

Admission process in 5 year Integrated MSC  : admission will be taken on the basis of NEST score – only those candidates who will be score at least minimum 60% marks in intermediate why will be eligible for the admission to NISER.

No of Seats and reservation:  total number of seats at NISER in 170+2 and CBS are 45+2, a common merit list of qualified candidates in NEST will be published on  June 2022. After that those candidates who will be declared qualified in the NEST examination they will be call for counseling and admission test. 

Entrance Exam Details:
entrance exam will be held in 52 district of all over India. Entrance exam will be held on may 2022 from 10 am to 1 Pm.

Question Type Question paper pattern / Syllabus;
question paper will be divided in 5 section. All questions will be objective and CMQ based. Each section will carry total 60 marks.  Minus marking will no applicable in the general section.
Section 2 to section 5 will be related to subject related question like Biology, chemistry, math and physics.  Candidates are permitted to attempt as many subject section as they wish. However, only the best three subject-scores along with the score in the general section will be counted for evaluation and merit list preparation.  Minus marking will be applicable in section 2 to section 5. 
Question paper medium will be English language.

Application Form fee: Male general, OBC, Rs 700 and all female, sc, st and pwd candidates 350 only.  
Candidates can pay application form fee for via Demand Draft drawn in favor of NISER-NEST and payable at Bhubaneswar or
State Bank Collect online payment facility (SB-Collect):
