Villagers in the state will now get the benefit of many facilities at home. Citizen's Charter will be applicable in Gram Panchayats also.

Major services available under Gram Panchayat

The villagers of the state will get birth and death certificates from their villages in a maximum of one month. At the same time, on the demand of the villagers, the Gram Sabha will also have to be called in three days. Citizens' Charter will be implemented in every gram panchayat to provide facilities to the villagers in the village itself.

The Panchayati Raj Department and all the District Magistrates have been instructed to implement the Citizen's Charter in the Gram Panchayats. On behalf of the state government, Meri Panchayat, My Adhikar Jan Seva Abhiyan is being launched by Aapke Dwar. Under this, people will also be given information about which facility of the government or in how many days the complaint will be resolved.

The Panchayati Raj Department has implemented the Model Citizen Charter. Panchayats have been instructed to select the facilities and implement them by August 15.

The application fee will have to be paid five rupees along with the birth and death certificate application form. Birth certificate will have to be produced in maximum one month.

The responsibility is entrusted to the Gram Panchayat Secretary, Village Pradhan, Assistant Development Officer or DPRO.

You can apply to the panchayat for copy of family register and documents from panchayat, identity card with application form, details of family members.

Five rupees for five pages, after that one rupee per page will have to be paid.

Documents have to be given within three days.

The responsibility has been given to the Gram Panchayat Secretary, Assistant Development Officer and DPRO.

The request to call the Gram Panchayat Sabha will be made free of cost along with the application form, identity card.

Gram Panchayat Pradhan, Village Secretary, Assistant Development Officer and DPRO will be responsible for this.
