 Candidates selected on the post of Assistant Teacher are appointed in the pay band 9300 to 34800 and grade pay 4200. According to the Seventh Pay Commission, this pay band falls under Level 6.

 What is the probation period?

Initially, teachers are temporarily appointed on a 1-year probation period. Probation period implies that you are not yet a permanent teacher.  How does the teacher get salary
