upsessb  is the acronym of U.P. Secondary Education Service Selection Board. In state of  uttar pradesh Posts of Trend Graduate Teacher TGT, and Post Graduate Teacher PGT posts of Government Aided Private Intermediate and High School Level. filled by Madhymik Shiksha Seva chayan board (: माध्यमिक शिक्षा सेवा चयन बोर्ड) . Recently madhymik Siksha Sewa chayan board conducted the state level written examination for the trend graduate Teachers and post graduate teacher. All candidates who appeared in the TGT or Lecturer post now they can check there answer key with our answer key which is available here.

more then 3 lakh candidates appeared in the UP Secondary education PGT written examination of 17 August and 18 August 2021 . This exam was held at 11 mandal of uttar pradesh.

Just like previous year examination of Madhymik Shiksha chayan board, a lot of chaos and negligence  was happening in this PGT examination. so now its sure when results will be out  then defiantly a lot of court cases will be filed on this examination.

UpJob.in brought the expected cutoff data for UP PGT Written examination. This cutoff marks is derived on the basis of final merit. a final merit list will be prepared on this basis of  written examination and weightage of Service record marks and Personal interview test. 85% weightage will be given for marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination. 
Your marks in the written examination will be converted out of 85 Scale and after that a final merit list will be prepared on the basis of 85% weightage +10% weightage ( Personal Interview).
Following cutoff is based on the marks share by candidates who appeared in the PGT written examination of Madhyamik shiksha seva chayan board.


Merit List Preparation Method 

Selection for the post of Lecturer for fresh and ad-hoc teacher candidates will be on the basis of written examination and interview as per procedure prescribed in UP Secondary Education Service Selection Board Rules 1998 as amended vide notification number 607/15.05.2019-604(30)-2017 dated 18 February 2019 .
The board will prepare the following list for the post of spokesperson on the basis of marks obtained in written test, interview and marks for special qualifications:

(a) 85% marks on the basis of written examination
(b) 10% marks on the basis of interview which shall be divided in the following manner, namely:-
  • 1. 4 percent marks on the basis of general knowledge
  • 2. 3% marks on the basis of personality test
  • 3. 3% marks on the basis of ability to express

(c) 5% marks on the basis of the following special qualifications, namely:

1. 2% marks for holding doctorate degree
2. 2 percent marks for holding the degree of Master of Education (M.Ed.)
3. For holding the degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) 1 percent marks (Provided that no marks shall be awarded under sub-section (3) to a candidate who has secured marks on the basis of sub-section (2)).
4. Percentage marks for participating in any national level sports competition through the state team

10(1) The process of selection for the post of lecturer cadre will be as follows:

Written Exam -425 Marks
Interview - 50 Marks

According to the provision contained in Rule 12(4)(c) of the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board Rules, 1998, surcharge on special qualification (doctor's degree, M.Ed. B.Ed), for participating in any national level sports competition through the state team. for) - 25 marks

Total- 500 Marks

Selection Process

 Written Exam: Question Paper Pattern
For the selection of lecturer cadre post, there will be a written examination of general ability based on the subject for fresh and ad-hoc teacher candidates, in which there will be a question paper of 425 marks.
There will be a total of 125 questions in the question paper.
Each question will be of 3.4 marks.
All questions will be compulsory.

Time period:-
 The time duration to solve the question paper in the written examination will be of two hours.

Question Format:
All questions will be multiple choice (MCQ: Multiple choice question).
Four options will be given for the answer of each question, in which only one most suitable option will be selected by the candidates.
The circle of correct answer has to be darkened in the answer sheet with black ink ball pen.

Selection of ad hoc Lecturer
 For ad-hoc Lecturer, service based weightage points will be given on the basis of the duration of their work.
1.5 marks for one year service and maximum 30 marks will be given at interview level.
The marks obtained in the written examination by the ad-hoc Lecturer shall be added to the marks obtained in the interview, marks obtained on the basis of special qualifications and the marks obtained on the basis of service based overload, which in no case shall be an integer i.e. more than 500 marks.

 Merit List for Interview:-
On the basis of the marks obtained by the fresh and ad-hoc teacher candidates in the written examination, a consolidated merit list will be prepared for the interview of lecturer cadre.

Panel for Selection:
Selection will be made on the basis of aggregate of marks obtained by fresh candidates on the basis of written test, interview, special qualifications.

Ad hoc teacher candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, interview, marks obtained on the basis of special qualifications and service based overload marks (which in any case will not be more than an integer i.e. 500 marks) for lecturer cadre.
For this, the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board Rules, 1998 will be used.
