Education qualification – graduation degree
Selection process – selection of the eligible candidates will
be based on through the written examination, physical test, and medical
test.
First of ap police department will conduct preliminary
examination. Pre test will comprise two question papers and this paper will be
qualifying nature. Total 3 hours time duration will be given for attempting the
question paper.

Paper 1- maximum 100 marks
Arithmetic and Test of Reasoning / Mental Ability (100
Questions) (Objective type)
Paper-2 maximum 100 marks
General Studies (100 Questions) (Objective type)
Minimum qualifying cutoff marks - 40% for OC,
35% for BC and 30% for SC, ST and EXS
Physical Efficiency Test (PET
Men & Women Candidates must qualify in 1600 Meters run (1
Mile Run) and
One out of remaining two events.
Physical Efficiency Test will be qualifying in nature
