CBSE UGC NET JRF Examination January 2017 Notification

University grant commission every year conduct National eligibility Test NET examination for lectureship and JRF junior Research fellowship- for Fellowship.  UGC Net examination conducted twice in year. First examination is usually conducted on the last date of June and 2nd examination is conducted last Sunday of December. CBSE UGC NET examination December 2016 will be conducted by CBSE central board of secondary education

 Kendriya Madhyamik shiksha board will conduct written examination on behalf of Vishwavidyalaya Anudan ayog. Official notification CBSE/NET/2016-17 for Rashtriya patrata pariksha and Kanishtha Anusandhan   Adhyetavrti   published online   as well as offline in local news paper. NET Certificate is compulsory for teacher higher classes.  NET qualified candidates can apply for Lecturer / Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Vyakhyata / Pravakta posts. If you also hold the eligibility criteria and you have completed your post graduation , then you can fill application for NET examination for the subject which you have opted in PG. UGC conducting this examination for more then 84 subjects. Application form will be filled online after that candidates are required to submit application for to coordinating institution and universities.

It is notified that CBSE will conduct the next UGC-NET for Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor which will be held on 22 January 2017(Sunday). The candidates who desire to appear in the test may see the detailed notification available on the website from  10 October 2016 . The candidates are required to apply online only from 17 October 2016. The last date for applying online is 16 November 2016 and fee can be paid up to 17 November 2016.

Important details of UGC NET examination 22 January 2017.
Candidates who qualify for the award of JRF are eligible to follow research in the subject of their pg and are also eligible for Assistant Professor. Candidates qualifying for Assistant Professor will not be considered for JRF.
Candidates qualifying for the award of Junior Research Fellowship will be eligible to receive fellowship of UGC NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors in Universities/Colleges/Institutions

 National Eligibility Test (NET)  which will be conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges.
Subject of UGC NET examination: CBSE / UGC will conduct NET in 83 subjects

Eligibility Criteria for UGC Net examination 2017
Education qualification: Post graduate with at least 55 % marks and 50% for OBC, SC, PWD ,
Appearing candidates in qualifying examination of posts graduation / master degree  will be also consider for UGC net examination .

Age Limit: maximum age for JRF:  28 year   as on 1 January 2017
There is no maximum age Limit for Eligibility for assistant professor posts.

Question paper pattern for UGC NET Examination January 2017
A nation level written examination will be held in the month of January 2017 at various examination center of all over India. Written examination will comprise three question papers.  All question of the written examination will be objective and MCQ based answer.
First paper of NET examination will be common for all candidates. 2nd and 3rd paper will be related to subject for whom you want appear in this examination. 1st and 2nd question paper will carry 100 marks each and 3rd paper will carry 150 marks. Paper 1 and paper 2 will be held in first meeting morning shift. paper 3 will be held in noon shift.

Selection Procedure;
Selection of the eligible candidates for JRF and NET examination will be done on the performance of written examination. A national level merit will be prepared subject wise category wise for JRF and NET on the basis of marks secured by candidates in each paper separately and all the three paper aggregately. published the previous year cutoff data for UGC net examination June and December. This will be helpful you for analyzing the average qualifying marks / cutoff marks for declaring qualified in the NET examination.
 Top 15% candidates (for each subject and category), from the merit list  will be declared NET qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only/.
A separate merit list for the award of JRF will be prepared

How to apply: all interested candidates can fill application form online at the official website of UGC which is if CBSE will conduct examination then application form will be submitted online at the official website of CBSE UGC NET which is
Candidates appearing in NET should clearly specify in the Application Form whether they are applying for both JRF & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both OR only for Eligibility for Assistant Professor.
After part 1 online registration candidates are required to generate application form fee Challan and deposit application form fee. After paying application form fee just take a printout of dully filled application and send this to Coordinating institutes or university. Don’t send your application form for UGC office or CBSE office directly other wise it will be rejected. 

Application form fee: rs 600 for General category  rs 300 for  obc, and rs 150 for SC, ST , PWD category .
Candidates have option to pay application form fee via Credit card / debit card / net Banking or By E Challan.
Last date of submission of Fee through online generated Bank challan, at any branch of ( Syndicate/Canara/ICICI/HDFC Bank ) or through credit/debit card - 17 November 2016

  1. यूजीसी-नेट के लिए आवेदन 16 से

    इलाहाबाद (ब्यूरो)। यूजीसी-नेट जून-2015 के लिए 16 अप्रैल से ऑनलाइन आवेदन होगा। सीबीएसई की ओर से इसका विस्तृत कार्यक्रम घोषित कर दिया गया है। इसके लिए फीस 15 मई तक जमा होगी। आवेदन की आखिरी तारीख 16 मई है, परीक्षा 28 जून को होगी।

    इस बार से इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय एवं अन्य संस्थानों का परीक्षा में हस्तक्षेप पूरी तरह से खत्म हो गया है। पूरी परीक्षा सीबीएसई के निर्देशन में होगी।

    पहले अलग-अलग क्षेत्र में विश्वविद्यालयोंको नोडल संस्था बनाया जाता था। परीक्षा कराने की जिम्मेदारी भी विश्वविद्यालय के पास होती थी लेकिन इस बार से यह व्यवस्था खत्म कर दी गई है। इसके तहत अब प्रिंट कॉपी जमा नहीं करनी होगी। परीक्षा भी सीबीएसई कराएगा।

    एक बदलाव के तहत अभ्यर्थियों को अब परीक्षा के रूप में चार जिलों का विकल्प भरना होगा।

    उत्तर प्रदेश में इलाहाबाद के अलावा आगरा, अलीगढ़, बरेली, गोरखपुर, कानपुर, लखनऊ, मेरठ और वाराणसी में परीक्षा होगी। प्राथमिकता क्रम के आधार पर सेंटर एलाट किया जाएगा। इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय में मंगलवार को डॉ.भीमराव अंबेडकर की जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में अवकाश रहेगा लेकिन प्रवेश भवन खुला रहेगा।

    1. no hard copy to be sent to anyone. you only need to take the printout of your admitcard and identity proof at the time of examination

    2. Hey so the form submission will be online only ? & identity proof is the university id card right ? & if have to submit the form online then attestation from the HOD of the college is not needed right ?

    1. yes you can also opt for law and you can try unlimited time but for jrf the maximum age limit is 28
