technology. IIST declared as Deemed to be university by UGC. IIST located in
thin Valiamala, PO Thiruvananthapuram, in Kerala states. All interested

Selection process | Admission process in IIST 2022
Selection of the eligible candidates who want to take
admission in above mentioned program offered by IIST they are required to
appeared in the written examination of JEE main 2022 and JEE advance 2022. JEE
main and JEE advances will be conducted NAT National Testing Agency.

IIST Admission and Rank List:
IIST will prepared a
national level merit list for those candidates who will be declared qualified
in the JEE Advance. Rank list will be generated only for those candidates who
will register online for the admission to IIST and hold all the eligibility
criteria published in the official Admission Notification 2022 Registration
process for Admission in IIST will be started in the month of June 2022. JEE
main 2022 all Indian rank will be published by NAT most probably in the first
of July 2022, after that admission process will be started for IIST program on
the basis of JEE advance scores.
In JEE-(Advanced)-2022, the maximum mark for each subject is
120 and the aggregate is 360. Accordingly, the MINIMUM (cut-off) MARKS for each
subject and the aggregate, which should be secured for eligibility to
apply for B.Tech/Dual degree admission in IIST is tabulated below:

Benefit in provide by IIST : IIST in central Funded
deemed university. Most all fund is provide by department of space, government
of India. IIST assists financially weak students. University provides a
lot of benefit like Tuition Fee, Students amenity fee, hostel Fee, Dining fee,
Medical needs etc. IIST also helps students rs 3000 per semester book allowance
to each students. These helps is only given for those student who met the
performance stander set by IIST .
Campus selection / job opportunities for IIST Students
IIST provides a wonderful campus selection and Job
opportunities to there students. On successful completion of the
different IIST program and courses, who student who performed well on the
stander set by IIST may be place in DOS / and ISRO . Approximately
90 % students placed in DOS and IIST as Scientist and Engineer. DOS
and ISRo also publishing recruitment notification for the posts of
scientist and engineer for IIST students.
If students will be absorbed, they will be posted as
Scientist/Engineer-‘SC’ in any ISRO/DOS Centre. Currently,
Scientist/Engineer-‘SC’ is placed with an initial pay of Rs. 21,000 (in the Pay
Band PB-3 of Rs. 15,600-39,100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/-) + Dearness
Allowance & House Rent Allowance (as applicable)
