Under the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Shramik Technical Education Assistance Scheme, funds are provided to the students for various courses.
This time the following amendments are being made in the amount given for the degree course.
- Degree courses - increased from 15000 to 25000 rupees,
- Diploma course Rs.15000 instead of -10000
- for certificate course -10000 instead of 7000
The increased rates will be implemented from July 1.
Directed to launch the Shramik Sahayata Yojana from July 1 and provide benefits to the beneficiaries by July 15.

Shravan Kumar Shramik Family Pilgrimage Scheme
Under the Shravan Kumar Shramik Parivar Tirth Yatra Yojana, an amount of Rs 12000 will be provided to the labor families for undertaking pilgrimage.
A train is being proposed to be run soon for the workers and their families to undertake pilgrimage. This will facilitate the workers and their families to undertake pilgrimage.
All necessary facilities including medical will be provided in this train.
