Sant Ravidas Shiksha Sahayata Yojana is a very important scheme, under which the government gives money and scholarship to help the children of laborers to study.
The details of the major features of this scheme are being given below.
Name of the Scheme: Sant Ravidas Education Assistance Scheme
Details of benefits available under Sant Ravidas Education Assistance Scheme
1. Benefit payable up to two children only.
Rs.150/- per month from class 1 to 5,
Rs.200/- per month from 6th to 10th,
Class 11 and 12 Rs.250/- payable per month.
3. I.T.I. or equivalent, equivalent to government fee for training. Rs.1000 for graduation and Rs.2000 for postgraduate
Rs.8000/- per month for Engineering/Medical Masters.
Rs 12,000 payable for research.
4. Cycle payable to girl students who have passed class 10th and 12th.
Eligibility for the scheme
All workers who have online registration are eligible for this scheme.
Such children of the laborer whose age is less than 25 years can take advantage of this scheme.
At least maximum two children of each worker will get the benefit of this scheme.
Benefits under the scheme
Under this scheme, scholarship assistance is provided for higher education starting from class one.

Apply for the scheme Only Uttar Pradesh can apply for this scheme.
Sant Ravidas Education Assistance Scheme will take the following documents
1. Proof of Registered Update
2. Residence certificate of Uttar Pradesh
3. Photocopy of the age/date of birth certificate of the boy/girl
4. Certificate from the Principal / Competent Officer of the educational institution regarding the presence of minimum 50 percent in the current class of the boy / girl.
5. Photocopy of the admit card and the receipt of the fee deposited in respect of proof of admission in polytechnic/ ITI/ engineering colleges/ medical courses/ management colleges.
6. Certificate from the Principal / Competent Officer of the concerned institute regarding obtaining admission by passing the national / state level entrance examination in professional courses.
7. Photocopy of Aadhar card and bank passbook of the registered worker.
