Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications : Qualification as to Age:

As per Section 6 of Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Educational Services (G.O.Ms.No. 14, School Education (SE2(1)), 30th January 2020), no person shall be eligible for appointment by direct recruitment to this recruitment, if he has completed 40 years of age, on the First day of July of the recruitment year viz. 2021

 

Education Qualification

The persons must have obtained a Post Graduate Degree, after completion of S.S.L.C., Higher Secondary Course or its equivalent and a degree (10+2+3+2+(1 or 2))

and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.,)

 

Selection procedure

The selection will be based on two successive stages viz. a. Computer based examination; b. Certificate Verification

 

Scheme of Examination :  The written examination will consist of a single paper of 3 hours duration with 150 MCQs. Each question carries one mark. The marks allotted to the Main Subject, Educational Methodology and General Knowledge are as follows:

·         Main Subject 110

·         Educational Methodology 30

·         General Knowledge 10

Total 150
