KGBV girl students will get 1100 rupees scholarship stipend help in UP

The girl students of Kasturba Gandhi Residential School (KGBV) will get Rs 1100 (annual) stipend soon. This year this money will be sent through Direct Benefit Transfer ie DBT. In this regard, Director General School Education Vijay Kiran Anand has issued this order on Thursday. 79600 girl students are enrolled in the 746 KGBV of the state.

This money is given to the girl students at the rate of Rs 100 per month. With this, they can buy small items of their need. This money is given for 11 months. But due to the closure of the school due to corona infection, it is being given in the account of the parents. This time due to DBT, it does not take time to reach the money. In KGBV, the government itself bears the cost of bedding, soap, oil, toothpaste, sanitary napkins etc. With this stipend, girls can buy any item of their need. The Director General has directed that the account of the girl students who have been newly admitted should be opened in the nearby bank and its information should be registered on the DBT template of the PFMS portal of the portal.

It should be noted that stipend will be given from the month from which admission will take place. Three installments i.e. first five months and second and third installments will be sent for three months each. If any student is deprived of this, then the responsibility of the concerned Assistant Finance and Accounts Officer, District Coordinator, Warden etc. will be fixed.
