If you have not yet applied for free admission in private schools of the district under the Right to Education Act (RTE), then Thursday is the last chance. Thereafter, there is very little hope of further extension of the application. Due to the corona infection, the Basic Education Department has already extended the last deadline of application for the second phase.
On June 11 and 12, the verification of documents will be done by the Basic Education Department. Online application will be done through lottery on 13th June. The time for completing the admission process in the selected school is fixed by June 30. Under the Right to Education Act, 25 percent seats in private schools in the district have to be admitted to economically weaker children in class I or pre-primary classes. The cost of their education is sent by the government to the accounts of the schools.
