 We all need to pass a map to get a residential / commercial houses and property. If you do not pass the map before constructing the house, then you are processed by the Development Authority. Recently, a new rate of passing the map has been announced in all major cities including Prayagraj. Now passing the map is going to be very expensive in all the big cities including Prayagraj. The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to hike the development fee. This decision has been taken by the cabinet. For any construction work, under the limits of the Large Development Authority, a map has to be passed, the rate of which has now been increased considerably. The government has increased the development fee for passing the map in all big cities including Lucknow, Varanasi, Kanpur, Agra, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur.

The rate of development fee of 12 small cities like Loni, Modinagar, Muradnagar of Ghaziabad has also been reduced.

The proposal of the Housing and Planning Department has been approved in a cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister on Monday. Development fee in Lucknow Development Authority area has been increased from ₹ 1400 to ₹ 2040.

 In addition, making online map passing has been further simplified.

 

People will be able to pass the map of their house, shop, complex, hotel, mall and multiplex from home. The time limit for passing the map has also been fixed. The order was issued by Special Secretary Housing Mala Srivastava on 20 June.

 

Till now, different authorities of the state used to charge different fees for passing the map. The Housing Development Council used to charge different fees in its plans.   This will greatly benefit those who pass the map of large houses and group housing. Builders who develop new colonies will also benefit. This will make their houses cheaper. Also, making online map passing has been further simplified.
