HPPSC ACF exam expected cutoff marks 2020 assistant conservator of Forest

Himachal Pradesh public service commission (hppsc) has published official answer key and question paper solution for assistant conservator of Forest vacancy 2019 – 2020.  Selection process
Selection of the eligible candidates will be based on the physical standard test, physical measurement test and written examination test.

 Question paper analysis
Written examination was held on the 8th March 2020. Written examination will carry maximum 100 marks for 100 questions.
Total 30 marks questions were asked from the history, geography and socio economic development of Himachal Pradesh.
 Questions of 30 marks were asked from the general knowledge of current affairs national and international importance and day-by-day observation and experience.
40 marks questions related from the modern history from 1857 to onward of India, Indian culture, Indian polity, Indian economy, geography of India, and disaster management, environment and gender issue and technique of Mahatma Gandhi.

Question difficulty
Difficulty of the question paper was moderate level. Total 20 times are proposed number of vacancies candidates will be called for the mains examination and total five times of reported number of vacancies candidates will be called for the physical test.

 Negative marking is applicable in this examination. For each correct answer, 0.33 marks will be deducted as a minus marking.

Minimum qualifying cut off marks
Candidates shall be considered to have qualified the written examination of 40% marks in each compulsory paper and 45% marks in aggregate.

Expected cut off marks analysis

  • General category- 70 to 80 marks
  • OBC – 65 to 70 marks
  • SC- 62 – 62 marks
  • ST – 55 -60 marks
