Scheme Details in Brief
The cabinet of Uttar Pradesh has given its consent to the proposal to change the name of Ambedkar Special Employment Scheme being operated by Rural Development. Now this scheme will be known as Baba Saheb Ambedkar Rojgar Protsahan Yojana. This arrangement has been issued under the guidelines issued in the year 1991.
Scheme Features : Family Income
Under this scheme, employment is provided to eligible candidates by giving loans.
Under the new system, all such applicants, whose annual income from all sources of the family does not exceed ₹ 200000.
How to Apply
Online loan facility will be adopted in this scheme. The Rural Development Department will start this process on the UP RD website. Until the process of online starts, applicants can apply through hard application form, And applications can be sent by registered post.

Eligibility
As before, this scheme is designed for people of every class, every caste, and every religion.
Under this scheme, 10% or maximum of ₹ 10000 per work cost was paid to the beneficiaries of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe area and up to 25% or maximum of ₹ 7500 for the other beneficiaries.
In the revised system, SC, ST divangs will be given loans up to a maximum of ₹ 70000 or 35 % whichever is less.
The minimum age for selection of beneficiaries will be on 18 years and maximum 65 years.
The beneficiaries of Mudra Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Yojana are not eligible for this scheme. The cabinet has authorized to Chief Minister to resolve the difficulties faced in the scheme.
