Additional chief secretary of uttar pradesh now published the official GO /Shasanadesh regarding Mukhyamantri panchayat protsahan purskar yojana. Under this scheme government will award such gram panchayat who are working excellent work and implementing government scheme in excellent manner. Chief Minister of uttar pradesh launched this scheme on ............... on the occasion of Rashtriya panchayat divas. This scheme has launched for the empowerment of rural panchayat who are working very good. This scheme will work like deen dayal upadhyay panchayat sashaktikaran puraskar. Name of this scheme will be known as Mukhyamantri panchayat Protshan purskar yojana.
Basic objective of this scheme will be as are following
Government will establish panchayat as a accountable institution.
Encouraging panchayat on the basis of panchayat rule and regulation.
Awarding such panchayat who are working excellent in the execution of government scheme.
Each gram panchayat will be developed as a smart gram panchayat.
Selection of the panchayat will be based on following criteria
1 - Working mechanism of gram panchayat - 15%
2 - Sanitation – 20 %
3- Gram panchayat Vikas yojana – 15 %
4- Development work / public service – 30 %
5 – E Governance – 20%
Total Marks – 100 %

- under this scheme government will provided a fixed amount to selected panchayat
