State government of uttar pradesh now changed the selection process of LT Grade TGT teacher posts for government Inter College and High school. Cabinet of uttar pradesh changed the Uttar pradesh adhinasth shiksha (Prashikshit snatak) sewa niyamawali. Now selection for LT grade TGT teacher post of GIC and GGIC for male and female both cadres will be filled through the written examination. Previously posts of UP subordinate education TGT teacher post through the academic merit. Government used gudank formula for the preparation of merit of male and female cadre 10 % of high school, 20 % of intermediate, 40 % off graduation marks used for preparing merit. Practical and Theory marks of B.ed is also added in merit preparation.
Government said that due an eligible candidates not be selected through academic merit so government will conduct written examination for filling TGT posts. That’s why government amends UP subordinate education service rule 1983 via 5th amendment in 2022.
After the enactment of this amendment, assistant teacher (sahayak adhyapak) posts of Rajkiya vidyalaya will be filled by Uttar pradesh public service commission. UPPSC will conduct written examination for appointments of Teacher in government inter college, government girls inter college.
So its expected that now high qualified candidates will be selected through the Likhit bharti pariksha.

Uttar pradesh very soon will publish notification for revised and updated syllabus and question paper pattern for upcoming UP TGT PGT vacancy of UPPSC.

Selection procedure Selection of the eligible candidates for the TGT and PGT teacher will be done through the written examination and personal interview test. Commission will be prepare separate merit for each subject, category wise. This merit list will be prepared on state level. Merit list will be prepared as are following
85% weightage for the written examination of Pravakta / Prashikshit Snatak Pad
10% weightage for personal interview test
5% for marks for special qualification like Phd 2 marks, M.ed 2 marks, b.ed 1 marks. Sport personal 1 mark.
