Punjab Judicial Service Exam 2022 Civil Judge judicial branch PPSC

Punjab Public service Commission PPSC will going to publish the official Recruitment Notification  for Punjab Civil Service Judicial Branch Examination 2022. Application form will be invited in prescribed application form OMR format from the eligible candidates. Punjab Judicial service Civil Judge Junior Division recruitment examination will be conducted by the PPSC and High court of Punjab and Haryana. There are total 118 Tentative  posts of Civil Judge junior Division cum judicial magistrate.  Selection of the eligible candidates will be done through the state level preliminary examination, Main examination and personal interview. Salary of Civil judge Junior Division in Punjab : pay scale Rs. 27,700-44,770

Eligibility Criteria : Education Qualification : Graduation degree law ,  or should be a Barrister of England or Ireland or member of the Faculty of Advocates of Scotland

Punjabi language on high School Level .

Age limit: minimum 21 year and maximum 37 year as on  February 2022

Maximum age for SC, ST , BC will be 42 year, 

Other category candidate will also get benefit of the reservation in age .

Preliminary examination question paper pattern Syllabus of PPSC

PPSC will conduct a state level preliminary examination for Civil Judge Junior division recruitment 2022 – 2023. Pre examination will be objective type and MCQ based.

Question Type : objective MCQ based

Time Duration: 2 Hours 

No of questions : 125 Objective type question ,

Marks : 4 marks for each question ,

Negative marking: minus marking will be applicable. For each incorrect answer 1/5 marks will be deducted as penalty . 

Syllabus: The objective type multiple choice questions for the Preliminary Examination shall be from the syllabus prescribed for the Main Written Examination. so candidates are expected to have basic knowledge of syllabus prescribed for Main examination. Question of the Pre exam will be relate from current events of National and International importance, Indian legal and constitutional History and governance.

The candidates shall also be tested for their analytical skills and aptitude .

Difficulty of the question paper will Graduation level. 

Minimum Qualifying marks / passing cutoff marks for preliminary examination  :  150 for Un reserved and 100 for reserved category out of maximum 500 marks. 

Marks of preliminary examination will not added in final merit list. Pre exam will be held just for screening purpose only . Pre examination will be essential qualification for eligibility of the main examination.  

Main Examination question paper pattern Syllabus

All those candidates who will be declared qualified in the pre examination they will be call for main examination. no applicant will be allowed to appear in the Main Examination unless he/she secures minimum 150 marks (read 100 marks for all reserved category candidates) in the Preliminary Examination out of 500 marks . Candidates equal to 10 times the number of vacancies advertised, selected in order of their merit in the respective categories shall be eligible to sit in the Main Examination

Main examination will be subject and narrative .

Personal interview test : in the last those candidates who will be declared qualified in the pre , main examination thy will be call for personal interview test .

Personal interview test or Viva Voce will carry 100 marks.,  minimum qualifying cutoff marks for personal interview test will be 50%.

Exam fee: rs 2500 for general  1250 for PWD, ESM – no fee, and 625 for all other candidates.
