Haryana public service commission HPSC published the official advertisement no 6 of 2022-23  for inviting online application form for judicial service recruitment 2022. All eligible candidates who hold the eligibility criteria they can fill application form online at the official website of Haryana lok sewa ayog.  Online registration form submission will be started from .................. This notification is published for the recruitment to subordinate judicial services through selection committed of Punjab and Haryana high court. Total 107 posts of different category of Civil Judge Junior division in the cadre of Haryana civil service judicial branch will be filled through this recruitment.

Eligibility criteria: education qualification for civil Judge Junior Division posts: bachelor Degree in law as on 30 September 2022

Age Limit – 21 to 42 years as on 30 September 

Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in maximum age Limit.

Selection procedure: selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the written examination preliminary, mains examination and personal interview test.

Question paper pattern of Preliminary examination as are following
All question of the HPSC Civil Judge Examination of Preliminary will be objective type and MCQ based.  Total 2 hr time duration will be given for attempting the question paper.
Question paper contains 125 questions form different subject. 
Each question will carry 4 marks.
Negative marking will be applicable in this examination. For each incorrect answer 0.80 marks will be deducted as a minus marking. 
The objective type multiple-choice question for the Preliminary Examination shall be from the syllabus for the Main Examination.
Candidate shall be expected to have a general and basic over view of the main subjects and also the ability to answer questions on current events of national and international importance, Indian legal and constitutional history and governance. The candidate shall also be tested for his analytical skills and aptitude. The standard of the question paper shall be of Law graduate level. The object of the Preliminary Examination is to short list candidates for the Main Examination.
No candidate shall be allowed to appear in the Main Examination unless he / she secured minimum 150 marks (read 100 marks for all reserved category candidates) in the Preliminary Examination. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination shall not be counted towards final result
10 times the number of vacancies advertised, selected in order of their merit in the respective categories shall become eligible to sit in the Main Examination


Question paper pattern of mains examination
Paper-1 Civil Law-1      200 Marks
Code of Civil procedure, Punjab Courts Act, Indian Contract Act, Indian partnership Act, Sale of Goods Act, Specific Relief Act, Indian Evidence Act and Haryana Urban (control of rent and eviction) Act, 1973.
Paper-II- Civil Law-II     200 Marks
Hindu Law, Mohammedan Law and Customary Law, Law of Registration and Limitation.

Paper-III Criminal Law 200 Marks
Indian Penal Code, Criminal Procedure Code and Indian Evidence Act,

The English paper will be of 200 marks and consist of the following:-
1. English Essay (1000-1100 words) 100 Marks
2. Precise 25 Marks
3. Words and Phrases (Make sentences of the given words and Phrases) 25 Marks
4. Comprehension 25 Marks
5. Corrections 25 Marks

Paper-V Language     100 Marks
Hindi (in Devnagri Script)

Paper-VI Viva-Voce 200 Marks

To judge the personal qualities of the candidates, the viva-voce shall relate to the matters of general interest and is intended to test the candidates’ alertness, intelligence and general outlook. It shall be conducted in English.

Main Examination will be subjective/narrative type.

Each written paper shall be of three hours duration.
(iv) The standard of the language paper shall be that of Matriculation Examination of the Board of School Education, Haryana

Language paper (v) shall comprise the following:- (a) Translation of an English passage into Hindi : 20 Marks (b) Explanation of Hindi passage in prose and poetry in the same language : 30 Marks
(c) Composition (essay), idioms and corrections : 50 Marks

Total: 100 Marks

  • Rs 1000 for General male,
  • rs 250 for General Female, all Sc, BC , ESM  of Haryana , Female of Other states
  • No fee for PWD candidates.
