31 Junior Clerk Parliament Job Notification 2017

Joint Recruitment cell, Parliament of India published the official recruitment notification advt. no 7/2017 for inviting online application form for various category of the posts . All eligible candidates who hold the eligibility criteria they can fill application form online at the official website of Parliament of India. Online registration form submission will be started from 10 July 2017. Last date of application form submission is 9 August 2017. 
Important recruitment details of Parliament latest vacancy as are following
Posts Name : Junior Clerk
No of vacancy : 31  (26 in English stream and 05 in Hindi/bilingual stream)
Salary :  level 4 post in the Pay Matrix (Provisional) [in the Pay Band of Rs. 5200-20200 (PB-1)+Grade Pay:Rs. 2400 (pre-revised)].

Eligibility criteria:  Education qualification: graduation degree and  typing speed of 40 words per minute in English/Hindi stream. Preference will be given to persons having typing speed of 40 words per minute both in English and Hindi
 age limit maximum – 27 years

Selection Procedure : selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the written examination .
Question paper pattern and syllabus as are following
I. Preliminary Examination:    Time : 50 Minutes
Subject                            Marks
Part-A General Knowledge & Current Affairs     50
Part-B General English                 50
(50 Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions in each part)
Preliminary Examination will be a qualifying examination. Only those candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in each component and aggregate in the Preliminary Examination will be called for the Main Examination. The marks secured by the candidates in the Preliminary Examination will not be counted while preparing the final selection li
Mains examination Question paper pattern
Paper 1 - Essay, Letter and Grammar* 100 marks - 2 hr time duration
Paper 2 - Typing test at 40 w.p.m. in English/Hindi 100 marks  10 minutes

*Descriptive Type Paper: Essay (50 Marks), Letter (35 Marks) and Grammar (15 Marks)
The answer scripts of Paper-I of only those candidates will be evaluated who qualify Paper-II (typing test) at the requisite speed of 40 w.p.m. Candidates will have to secure the minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I.
