West Bengal staff selection commission WBSSC published the
official advertisement No 05/WBSSC/2016 dated 2 march 20165 for the inviting Online
application form for the recruitment of Lower Division assistant LDA and lower
division clerk LDC recruitment 2016 . Notification was published for filling
total 1133 posts of different categories. Selection of the eligible candidates who
hold the eligibility criteria will be based on through the written examination.
These LDA / LDC Lower Division Assistant (LDA) / Lower Division
Clerk (LDC) will be appointed in Secretariat Offices, Directorates and District
Offices under Government of West Bengal. Selected candidates will be appointed
in the pay band of rs 5400-25200 and Grade pay of rs 2600. Initial pay band
will be 6240 .
WB SSC conducted a state level written examination on 5 June
2016 at various examination centers. More
then 1 lakh candidates appeared in the WBSSC recruitment examination.
Question paper analysis of WBSSC LDC LDA written examination
The written examination was comprise two parts viz part 1
and part II . all eligible candidates who
will be short listed on the basis of mark obtained in part will be allowed to
appear in the part II examination .
The part I will carry maximum 100 marks for 100
questions. Each question will carry 1 marks. Questions were objective type and MCQ based. Questions was related from English, general
studies GS , and arithmetic .
General English - 30
marks : questions was asked from different
topics like Fundamentals of the English such as Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence
Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms and its correct usage, etc. overall questions were moderate level of the difficulty
. an average aspirant can score 18-22 marks form this section .
General Study - 40 marks : questions of GS was difficult . Questions
were asked from Matters of everyday observation including everyday science,
current events and problems with special reference to India, Elementary
knowledge of Indian History and Indian Geography.
And average aspirant can score 25-28 marks from this section
Arithmetic - 30
marks : questions of the arithmetic was
moderate level of the difficulty .
question was asked from Divisibility, Fractions, Decimals, Recurring
Decimals, Simplification, H.C.F., L.C.M., Partnership, Average, Ratio and
Proportion, Percentage, Simple Interest, Profit and Loss, Time and Distance,
Area of Rectangle & Squares
And average aspirant can score 22-24 marks from this section
