Allahabad High Court Holiday List Calendar 2022 District court UP

Registrar General of Allahabad High Court has published Holidays Calendar- 2022 (Avkash Calendar /Alld. HC Chutti) for use in the subordinate court of Allahabad.

There is a separate list of holidays for the High Court of Allahabad. According to 

Avkash Suchi (अवकाश तालिका) of Alld, HC Second Saturday of each month will be a holiday. There shall not be less than 265 working days in the Courts Subordinate to the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad in a year. And Only Civil Work will be suspended during the period of Summer Vacation whereas the Criminal Work shall continue as usual. Some holydays like Id-ul- Fitra and Id-ul-Zuha depends upon visibility of the moon. Leave List 2022 (अवकाश सूचि-2022) for high court is

  1. The dates marked with asterisk (*) can be re-fixed according to the local visibility of the moon. If there is no change, no notification shall be issued.

2. Second Saturday of each month will be a holiday. 

3. Tuesday, February 01, 2022 will be a local holiday on account of Mauni Amavasya only for Allahabad.

4. Friday, April 15, 2022 will be a restricted holiday on account of Good Friday for Christians only. 

5. Friday, April 29, 2022 will be a restricted holiday on account of Last Friday of Ramzan for Muslims Only.

6. Tuesday, May 17, 2022 will be a local holiday on account of Mahavir-ji-Ka-Mela only for Lucknow Bench of the Court.

7. The Court shall also sit on Saturdays falling on March 05, 2022 and November 19, 2022 both at Allahabad and Lucknow.. 8. There is a separate list of holidays for the Courts Subordinate to the High Court.
