Question paper analysis of SSC junior engineer examination 2019-20
Recently we published the SSC JE answer key with question paper solution of all booklet code and SET of SSC JE question paper. Many of blog subscribers posted their views regarding how was their examination of SSC Junior engineer. In comparison to previous year. Question paper was easy but some gk questions were difficult.    Reasoning & technical was easy but GS is unexpected. This year SSC has raised the level of questions. Science questions were not from 10th level. All science questions asked were from 10+2 curriculum. So, now onwards don't concentrate on 10th level science questions. Go for higher.
Selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the written examination only. No personal interview test will be conducted for JE posts.  Written examination comprises two question papers. Written test will carry maximum 500 marks . previously a  personal interview test was also conducted for 200 marks but this time no interview test will be held.
Written examination paper 1 will carry 200 marks. Total 2 hours time duration was given for attempting the question paper. Questions paper 1 was divided in 3 sections.
Questions of 1st section were related from reasoning which will carry maximum 50 marks. Questions of reasoning were easy and an average candidate can score easily 28-30 questions correctly from this section.
Questions of general knowledge of JE examination paper 1 were difficult and confusing.  Maximum no of aspirant said that questions were very tricky and time consuming. If attempt at least 22 to 25 questions then I think it will be sufficient for cracking paper 1 of this examination.
Part 3 of paper 1 was related from General engineering and candidates are advised to attempt their trade specific questions. Question of Part 3 of general engineering was easy and if you have attempted 110 to 120 questions correct then I think this will be sufficient for qualifying this examination.

Question paper 2 :
Question paper 2 of SSC JE examination will be conventional type. . Questions of paper will be asked as are following
Maximum marks – 300             Total Time Duration – 2 Hour
Dates to be intimate later on
Part-A General Engineering (Civil & Structural) OR
Part- B General Engineering (Electrical) OR
Part-C General Engineering (Mechanical)

Negative marking is applicable in this examination for each incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted as a minus marking.
All declared qualified candidates in the written test will be appointed in the pay scale of rs 9300 to 34800 and grade pay of rs 4200.
