State bank of India SBI conducted a
national level written examination for the recruitment of Probationary officer.
Written exam for the posts of bank PO (Pariviksadhina
adhikari) was held online at various examination centers .written test of SBI was held on 29th & 30th April and 6th & 7th May
17. Online test was held in different shifts. Written test was started from 29
April and it will be finalized on 7 may 2017.
Question paper contains total 100 objective types and MCQ
based. Total 1 hour time duration was given for attempting the question paper.
For each correct answer, candidates will get 1 mark. Minus marking / negative
marking is applicable in this examination. For each incorrect answer 0.25 marks
will be deducted.

Subject wise question paper analysis of SBI Bank PO recruitment 2017
General English: SBI bank
PO written examination contains 30 questions
form General English Subject which will carry total 20 marks. first day exam of
SBI bank PO contains 10 questions from Reading
Comprehension , and 5 questions were asked from each topic of sentence
completion , Para jumble , sentence correction , and Cloze set . Two questions
of sentence completion were asked from sentence completion. Questions of Reading
comprehension were asked from latest banking and financial service.
Questions of this part were very lengthy and time consuming
that’s why maximum no of candidate faced problem in attempting the question
paper. Question of the written test was easy but lengthy. Over all questions of
English was so an average aspirant can easily score 17 to 19 marks. I think this
will be safe score for cracking SBI PO
examination.
Reasoning Ability: SBI asked 35
questions from reasoning ability which will carry total 35 marks. Questions of
reasoning section were moderate level of Difficulty. Questions were asked from
Directions 2, Matrix Arrangement 5, Coding-Decoding 5,
Blood Relations 3, Linear Arrangement 5, Circular Arrangement 5,
Mathematical Inequalities 5, and Syllogisms 5. Questions were not so difficult.
Maximum no of questions were asked from logical reasoning. 2 questions of
Direction Topic were lengthy and Time consuming however both questions were
easy. 5 questions asked from each topic of Matrix Arrangement,
Coding-Decoding, Linear Arrangement, Circular Arrangement, Mathematical
Inequalities and Syllogisms. Only 3 questions were asked from Blood relation.
All questions of blood relation were very easy.
Quantitative aptitude Test: Questions of the SBI PO written examination covered all syllabus of Bank PO
examination. Specified for quantitative aptitude test.
Approximately at least 1 question was asked from each topic. 1 question were
asked from each topics of Boats and Streams, Time and Work, Mensuration-2D, Probability, Partnership, Simple
Interest & Compound Interest, Percentage, Age, Mixtures &
Allegations, Profit, Loss and Discount. . 5 questions were asked from each
topics of Comparison of Variables, Series, Approximation, DI (Table),
DI (Line Graph).
Mathematical questions were easy to moderate level
difficulty. Over all 35 questions were asked from Quantitative aptitude test
which will carry 35 marks. If you score at least 25 marks in math section I
think this will be safe score for cracking the SBI
bank PO examination.
