Backward Classes and Extreme Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of Bihar has issued advertisement for the employment of retired teachers.
Under Backward Classes and Most Backward Classes Welfare Department, 12 Other Backward Classes Girls Residential, +2 High Schools are being operated in 11 districts. In these residential schools, applications are invited in the prescribed form to recruit retired teachers from state government schools on the vacant posts of graduate level teachers under the reservation policies of the state government on contract basis.

Eligibility for employment of retired teachers
Retired teachers will be appointed under the provisions contained in the General Administration Department's resolution number- 10000, dated 10.07.2015, in which the following conditions will be there:
Upper age limit
The maximum age limit of the candidate for selection will be 65 years. The selection will be for first two years or till regular appointment is made on the said post and the maximum age limit is 65 years, as per requirement, their extension of service for one year each can be done after reviewing their work.
Salary of retired teachers
Monthly honorarium of retired teachers employed on contract, out of the sum of dearness allowance received on the last salary received by them at the time of retirement + dearness allowance received at the time of retirement after deducting the amount of dearness allowance received on the amount of pension at the time of retirement. The amount received will be payable only.

How to apply
Retired teachers (in any one district) will dedicate the application form in the prescribed form to the office of District Backward and Most Backward Classes Welfare Officer for 15 days from the date of publication of advertisement.
Applications submitted after the due date will not be considered.
In case of accommodation facility available to retired teachers, they will have to stay in the premises of the posted residential school.
Scheduled task
Selected retired teachers will have to conduct special classes prescribed / directed by the school, and in addition to the teaching tasks, the school head / department will have to perform the tasks assigned from time to time.
