Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission,UKSSSC Dehradun has issued advertisement number: 42 / U.S.C./2021 dated: 28th December, 2021 for the recruitment of various posts of constable cadre under Uttarakhand Police Department. The application for which is available on the official website- www.sssc.uk.gov.in.

Under the Uttarakhand Police Department, advertisements have been issued for the recruitment of 785 vacant posts of District Police (Male) of the constable cadre, 291 posts of PAC / IRB (Male) and 445 posts of Fireman (Male/Female). A total of 1521 vacancies will be selected by direct recruitment.

Pay Scale: Nature of the Post:- Non-Gazetted/Permanent/Contributory Pensioned. Rs.21700- Rs.69100 (Level-03)
Educational Qualification:-
Must have passed "Intermediate Examination" or its equivalent qualification by the Uttarakhand Board of School Education, Ramnagar, Nainital.
Physical Qualifications: (a) Height: 165 cm
[Minimum -160 cm for General / OBC and SC candidates
(b) Measurement of Chest:
763 cm without expansion 78.8 cm when inflated
Post Wise Syllabus for Written Competitive Examination:
For selection, there will be a written test of 02 hours objective type (Objective Type with Multiple Choice) of 100 marks, in which questions will be based on General Hindi General Knowledge and General Studies (including information about Uttarakhand).
