Bihar School Examination Committee, Patna has issued release number PR 181/2021 inviting applications for scholarships under Madhyamik Central Sector Scheme. Under this scholarship, all university students, college students can fill their applications online on the scholarship portal.
Information regarding Central Sector Scheme Scholarship
It is hereby informed that the list of 20th percentile students who have passed Intermediate Annual Examination, 2021 is available on the website of the committee http://biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.
How to apply
Under the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Scheme, online application has to be made to get scholarship.
Important Date
NSP (National Scholarship Portal) to apply online is open from 18th August, to 30th November, .
Students can login to www.scholarship.gov.in for detailed information, the process of which is as follows:
While applying to the NSP, the student will enter his/her roll code and roll number as follows.
For example
- Roll Code : 11066
- Roll No. 21010013
The applicant will also be required to comply with other conditions of the NSP.
The annual income of the guardian of the applicant from all sources should not exceed Rs.08 (eight) lakhs.
The head of recognized educational institutions providing education of 10+2 and higher level is directed to give information related to the above scheme to the student and to spread awareness, ensure to paste the copy of the advertisement on the notice board of his educational institution. Also, through pamphlets etc. and at the local level, necessary action will be taken to disseminate information among the students, so that more and more students of Bihar can take advantage of this scheme.
Funds received under this scheme
Only the information related to the said scheme is made available to the students by the Bihar School Examination Committee.
The scholarship amount is paid by the Government of India under the DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) program in the account of the beneficiary.
Therefore, any claim related to the payment of scholarship from the Bihar School Examination Committee will not be valid.
The information will be made available on the website of the committee after the extension of the last date of application for the benefit of the scheme.
