 Doon University has issued Recruitment Advertisement No. 362/424/Kunka0/2021 dated June 30, 2021. 

Doon University invites online application form for the recruitment of Non-teaching posts. Candidates having relevant qualification / work experience can apply online for recruitment to various non-teaching posts in Doon University.

 The details of the posts can be seen in the Information Bulletin.

 Earlier, advertisement number 01/12/2016 was issued on 26 December 2016 for the recruitment of Assistant Engineer, Studio Technician, Junior Engineer Assistant posts, it is cancelled.

Candidates who had applied for these posts earlier, if they are interested, they will have to apply again. Previous applications will not be taken into account.

Eligible and interested candidates can fill the online application on the above mentioned website till 14.08.2021. Online applications are invited for the non-teaching posts for the eligible and eligible candidates.

Important information regarding the selection process

For the selection of suitable candidates, objective type offline examination of the candidates will be conducted by the university. In relation to the competitive examination, the time of six months is estimated and the date of the examination will be made available to the candidates on the mobile number given by them in the online application form through SMS and e-mail and also through UPJOBIN Telegram channel.

Candidates will be able to download their admit card from the university website only.

Question paper pattern

 Post Wise Syllabus and Procedure for Written Competitive Examination:

For selection, there will be a written test of two hours of objective type with multiple choice of 100 marks, in which questions related to general knowledge, general studies will be asked. 

Some questions in general knowledge will also be related to Uttarakhand state.

 Written Competitive Exam Cutoff

  • 45 percent for general and OBC category candidates
  • 35% marks for SC/ST category candidates

Negative Marking

In the written test question paper evaluation, 1 mark will be given for each correct answer. There will be negative evaluation as a penalty for wrong answers given by the candidates. 1/4th negative mark will be given for each wrong answer.

If a candidate gives more than one answer to any question, it will be treated as a wrong answer, even if one of the given answers is correct, yet the same penalty will be imposed for that question as above.

Age: The tentative date for age calculation is July 01, 2021. 

To apply for direct recruitment of Group 'C' outside the purview of Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, only those candidates will be eligible, who have obtained their High School and Intermediate or their equivalent level of education from recognized institutions located in the state of Uttarakhand.
