Uttar Pradesh government / UPSRTC is going to recruit women bus drivers on contract basis. Applications will be invited online for the recruitment of female bus driver. All eligible women can fill their applications on the official website of UP Roadways/ uttar pradesh state Road Transport Corporation .
The contractual recruitment process of women bus drivers in roadways is likely to start soon. The Regional Manager Office has issued an advertisement for this. Applicants can apply at Sapru Marg Status Transport Corporation Regional Office.
Applicant women will be able to apply even if they do not have a commercial driving license. The regional manager of the corporation, Pallav Bose, told that those who do not have commercial DL, they will be made DL after getting training to drive a bus in Kanpur.
In the first phase, 35 contractual women bus drivers will be recruited in Lucknow region. So far, commercial driving licenses have been issued in the name of only 15 women from Lucknow RTO office.
