The online examination of engineering and polytechnic will be held in July 2021. This is the first time that the online examination is being conducted. Multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam. The final semester students' examination will be held in the second week of July. The examination of the students of the remaining classes will be held in the third week of July. There are about four lakh students in engineering and polytechnic institutes.
Secretary (Technical Education) said that the infection of corona is decreasing now. In such a situation, the examination of second, fourth, sixth and eighth semester students of engineering and polytechnic institutes will be conducted online. Instructions have also been given to all the institutes to prepare for the examination. There are about two lakh students in 750 engineering colleges of the state and about the same number of students in diploma courses in 1372 polytechnic institutions.
Odd semester examinations of engineering and polytechnic institutions were proposed in December 2020, but due to the late session due to corona epidemic, these examinations were conducted in February and March 2021. The results for the odd semester examinations have also started to declare from May.
The students of even semester of engineering and polytechnic institutes will have online examination in July.
