The details of the
possible changes that will be made in the D.El.Ed admission process are given
below.
- The 12th
level questions will be asked in the semester examinations of DelEd, earlier
the questions up to class 8 level were asked.
- Internal
evaluation will also be banned on the lines of UP Board. It is proposed to
give maximum 30% marks of the integer.
Selection Procedure Details
Till now, the government is conducting written examination
in all the teachers recruitment of the state. In such a situation, the
meritorious gets an opportunity. Now, like B.Ed, written examination will also
be conducted in D.El.Ed Diploma in Elementary Education Program, and on this
basis, the candidates will be admitted to this program. The meritorious will
get an opportunity from this process.
So far, this candidates gets admission on the basis of merit of high school inter graduation, which is being prepared to finish. The mandate is likely to be issued at the end of this month or early March.
College for which this Rule be Applicable
All these changes can be made this time in D.El.Ed, a 2-year training course to become a teacher in primary schools. This course will be applied to a total of 67 District Education and Training Institute DIET 3103 colleges in the state. There are a total of 10600 seats in government institutions, and 231600 seats in private colleges programmed.

Along with other courses, D.El.Ed candidates are also being
given opportunity in teacher recruitment. The government has now scrapped the
provision of merit selection in almost all teacher recruits, even in the
adjustment of Shikshamitras, a written examination was held for the vacant
seats. Similarly, written examinations have been conducted in government
colleges till LT grade and till the principal recruitment of aided colleges. The
government is trying to select only meritorious people as teachers. Keeping
this in mind, preparations are being made to conduct entrance tests for
training courses to become teachers in primary schools.
Uttar Pradesh, the examination regulatory authority, has sent a proposal in this regard to the state government, stating that from 2022, admission will be done on the basis of written examination. Its cutoff mark has been fixed even today. The examination institution says that the mandate can be issued by the end of this month or before March.
