The Uttar Pradesh Election Commission UPECI has announced the panchayat elections Date and Schedule. Together, the ideal Achaar sanhita has also been announced. Panchayat elections will be held on 15 April, 19 April, 26 April and 29 April. Apart from this, counting of votes will be done on 2 May. The notification for the Panchayat elections in UP has been issued on 26 March 2021. With this, the Model Code of Conduct has also come into force.

The Election Commission told a press conference in Lucknow that this time panchayat elections will be held in four phases. Voting will be held on April 15 for the first phase, April 19 for the second phase, April 26 for the third phase and April 29 for the fourth phase.

Together, the second phase will be nominated on 7 and 8 April. The third phase will be nominated on 13 April 15. The fourth phase will be nominated on 17 and 18 April.

 

In the first phase, voting will take place in these districts: 15 April 2021

Ghaziabad, Saharanpur, Rampur, Bareilly, Hathras, Agra, Kanpur Nagar, Jhansi, Mahoba, Prayagraj, Rae Bareli, Hardoi, Ayodhya, Shravasti, Santakbir Nagar, Gorakhpur, Jaunpur, Bhadohi.

 

Polling will be held in the second phase here: 19 April 2021

Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Gautam Budh Nagar, Bijnor, Amroha, Badaun, Etah, Mainpuri, Kannauj, Etawah, Lalitpur, Chitrakoot, Pratapgarh, Lucknow, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sultanpur, Gonda, Maharajganj, Varanasi and Azamgarh.

 

Third phase voting: 26 April 2021

Shamli, Meerut, Moradabad, Pilibhit, Kasganj, Firozabad, Auraiya, Kanpur Dehat, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Fatehpur, Unnao, Amethi, Barabanki, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Deoria, Chandauli, Mirzapur and Ballia.

 

Fourth phase polling: 29 April 2021

Polling will be held in Bulandshahar, Hapur, Sambhal, Shahjahanpur, Aligarh, Mathura, Farrukhabad, Banda, Kaushambi, Sitapur, Ambedkaranagar, Bahraich, Basti, Kushinagar, Ghazipur, Sonbhadra and Mau districts.

 

Final list of reservation

Simultaneously, the Uttar Pradesh Election Commission ECI has also published the final list of reservation and allocation of reserved and unreserved seats for the panchayat elections. On Friday, the final list of reserved and unreserved seats has also been published on all the small districts where there was less objection. While the publication of this list is still running in large districts. On Friday, the list of remaining districts will be published and full details of 75 districts will be sent online by the district authorities to the Panchayati Raj Department.
