This is a very good scheme by the Department of Education to encourage
students towards higher education. These schemes serve the purpose of making
girls self-reliant and mainstreaming society. Under the Chief Minister Kanya
Utthan Yojana, funds are provided to Intermediate Passed Girls.
Aid amount - A sum of ₹ 10000 in lump sum is provided to all girl students. This amount
is transferred directly to the eligible applicants' account via DBT. A portal
has been created by NIC to transfer the eligible applicants online to their
account, in which all category girls and institute wise details have been
uploaded of the Intermediate Annual Examination 2022 from Bihar Vidyalaya
Examination Committee.
In this order, the parents are informed that by visiting this portal, the
online portal http://ekalyan.bih.nic.in/
(www.Ekalyan.bih.nic.in/edubihar.aspx) developed
by NIC, you should check all the information related to it, and be sure that
the said information is correct.
Apart from this, after login on the portal, in the blank column, give the
information related to the desired information such as your bank account, bank
branch name, IFSC code.
Also, the girl students who have passed the annual Intermediate Examination
2022, conducted by the Vidyalaya Examination Committee, will also have to
upload their certificate of unmarriage on the online portal developed by NIC.
Along with this, the students will also have to fill the registration
number, date of birth and total marks online.

Keep in mind that the bank account should be opened in the name of the
eligible student and this account should be operated in a national bank /
recognized private bank or India Post Payment Bank branch in any branch in

GUIDELINES FOR UPDATING STUDENT BANK DETAILS [ PASSED IN YEAR 2022
Before filling online Application Form students are required have following documents
1. Bank account should be name of student and IFS Code of Bank Branch
2. Aadhaar Number
3. Mobile Number for Contact
4. Bank Account will be accept only for Bihar
Filling the application form will consist of following subsequent steps:-
Step 1:- Student Login by providing Registration No. and Date of Birth or Total Obtained Marks
Step 2:- Update Student Bank Details
Step 3:- Finalise and submit application
