King George Medical University KGMU Lucknow Uttar Pradesh has published official admission notification for BSC nursing course 2021. This is a 4-year course, which is offered by the KGMUup for the admission to BSc nursing course. Candidates are required to apply online at the official website of KGMU. Selection Process
Admission of B.Sc. Nursing will be done on the basis of Merit List prepared on the basis of aggregate marks of PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) attained in class 12th exit exam.
In case of a tie of marks, merit shall be taken into consideration
as below in order of preference:
Student with older age
Highest Marks in Biology
Highest Marks in Chemistry
Highest Marks in Physics
Highest Marks in English
Seats Details
Both males and females are eligible.
Vivekananda College of Nursing Lucknow, Sahara College of Nursing Lucknow and BCM College of Nursing, Khairabad, Sitapur, have seats for Female candidates only.
At the time of admission, original certificate will be verified. If any discrepancy is found, admission will be cancelled.
Option of the choice of
Three options to be mentioned, in order of preference; from KGMU and the six affiliated colleges.
Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2021.
Minimum Education:
a. A candidate should have passed in the subjects of PCB and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks taken together in PCB at the qualifying examination (10+2).
b. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by central government having Science subjects and English only.
c. A candidate belonging to SC/ST or other backward classes, the marks obtained in PCB taken together in qualifying examination should be 40% instead of 45% as stated above.
