In Uttar Pradesh, the recruitment examination of Block Education Officer (BEO) was conducted on 16 August 2020 after many years. The examination of Block Education Officer or Khand Shiksha Adhikari was conducted in 18 districts, in which more than five lakh candidates applied. This examination was conducted on 16 August 2020. 309 posts will be filled through this exam.
The main examination will be conducted for all such
candidates who will be declared qualified in the preliminary examination. Uttar
Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the answer Key for
written examination for Block Education Officer / Deputy ABSA online. All those
who participated in this exam can visit the UPPSC site for Answer sheet.
It is likely that the
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission issues a revised answer, but generally,
the Public Service Commission does not issue a revised answer key and issues
the result. According to the reports received from reliable sources, the result
of Block Education Officer Examination can be declared in the end of September
or in the first week of October.

A total of 120 questions were asked in this exam. It is
mandatory for all the candidates to get the minimum qualifying marks. Negative
marking is also applicable in this examination.
In order to pass, it is mandatory for the SC /ST candidates
to get 35% marks, other candidates to get 40% marks.
A total of 13 times candidates will be declared qualified for the main examination. All such candidates who are declared to have passed the Block Education Officer Recruitment Examination will be provided a job in the post of Block Education Officer.
