National Institute of Fashion Technology has invited
applications for recruitment to various posts on contract basis. The total

recruitment to the posts of Professor. The National Institute of Fashion
Technology is a fashion education
institute under the Ministry of Textiles, with 17 campuses located in different
areas.

PhD DEGREE IN RELATED SUBJECT
Age Detail: Maximum 50 years
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of personal
interview.
Some posts will also be filled on the basis of deputation
and the posts that will be filled directly will be contract based.
Period of deputation shall be three years. Tenure can be
extended for a maximum period of two more years. Other terms and conditions of
deputation will be governed as per Govt. of India Orders / Instructions on the
subject.

Application fee
sc-st For PWD date, an application fee of Rs 1180 has to be
submitted
SC / ST / PWD / women candidates and NIFT employees (working on regular or long-term contract) are exempted from payment of application fee.
The candidates are required to pay application fee of Rs. 1,180
/ - (Rs.1,000 / - plus GST "18% i.e. Rs. 180 / -) (For those who apply
through direct recruitment on contract basis only) through Demand Draft / Bank
fighting check drawn in favor of NIFT, payable at New Delhi. Demand draft
should have been drawn on or after publication of the advertisement.
