Preparation for the recruitment of Assistant Engineer posts in different departments of the UP is at a final stage. The UP Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has sought details from every department for the post of Assistant Engineer (AE). Preparations are also being made to publish the recruitment advertisement after completing the screening of proposed no of vacancy details. The advertisement of recruitment can be published in the first week of December. The commission will recruit about 900 posts in several departments including irrigation (Sinchai), public works PWD, rural engineering, minor irrigation, ground water.
Recruitment to the post of Assistant Engineer in government departments has been stopped since 2013. The candidates have been seeking recruitment for a long time, but no one has seriously considered in that direction. Here the process of getting the recruitment of Assistant Engineer is going on fast. Reservation process is being implemented in the details for the post of Assistant Engineer from various departments. The advertisement of recruitment will be released as soon as the reservation process is completed. The commission's secretary Jagdish says that the preparations for the recruitment of the post of Assistant Engineer are going on vigorously. Posts have been decided at the departmental level. Some process is yet to be completed; the recruitment advertisement will be released as soon as it is completed.
