Skill Development Corporation of Tamilnadu organizes free light vehicle driving training and it’s organized by Institute Off Road Transport Government of Tamilnadu Chennai. This Institute also organised free heavy vehicle driving training and its organised by Road Transport Government of Chennai.
If you are interested in training for skill development programme then you are required to download prescribed application form format which is available in PDF file.
After downloading this application form submit it to concerned department of Chennai. This is very good initiative by road transport of Chennai for the skill development of citizens of Chennai.
Institute is situated is Velachery and Thirvanmiyur district which is about 45 kilometre away from the Chennai.
Total there are 50 acres of land for road transport training facility, well equipped classroom, driving laboratory training, fleet workshop driving range and staff training available here for trainee. Student is being taught by latest multimedia ads
Important details of this training as a following
What type of training is available: soft skill development Training and Technical training all topics related to Road Transport will be given at the IRT Chennai.
Training duration will be 10:00 a.m. to to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to to 5:15 p.m.
There will be 40 participants in each batch of training course.
Duration of this training will be one day.
Trainee will also get a Training Certificate after completing the Training. Certificate will be issued for only those who complete the training course.
IRT conduct only nonresidential training program however board boarding and lodging facility are available on the cost basis at the institute.
