Agriculture scientist recruitment board ASRB, Indian council of agriculture research ICAR, published the official recruitment Notification on 18 august for inviting online application form for stenographer grade III and lower division clerk LDC competitive examination 2017. There are 95 posts for stenographer grade 3 and 78 posts for Lower division clerk at ICAR head quarter.
Selection of the eligible candidates for ASRB vacancy will be based on through the online examination followed by skill test.

Salary: pay scale 5200- 20200 grade pay rs 2400, level 4 in 7th CPC
Post name: lower division clerk LDC at ICAR HQ New Delhi
Number of vacancy: 78
Salary : in the pay band 1 – rs 5200- 20200 grade pay rs 19000 , level 2 as per as 7th pay commission.
Eligibility criteria – age limit 18- 27 year as on last date of application form submission
Education qualification: Intermediates pass
Professional qualification for Stenographer – 70 wpm stenography speed in Hindi or English for 10 Minutes.
Candidates who opt to the test in English will be require to transcribe the matter in 50 Minutes on computer and the candidates who opt to take the test in Hindi will be require to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes on computer.
Professional Qualification For LDC – Typing speed 35 word per minutes in English or 30 wpm in Hindi or computer
Question paper pattern of stenographer posts –
Time duration – 2 hours
All questions will be objective type and MCQ based.
Negative marking will be applicable in this examination. For each incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted as a minus marking.
