State government of up has invited online application form for Jail Warder
Posts. Notification for Jail warder vacancy has published for Male and Female
category. All eligible candidates who hold the eligibility criteria for the
posts of Jail warder they can fill application form online at the official
website of uttar pradesh police recruitment and promotion board. Selection of
the eligible candidates will be based on though the written examination
followed by physical Test. All eligible candidates who want latest News Update

Notification will be publish for filling approximately 3638
posts of jail warder. Previously UP jail Warder Posts was recognized as Bandi rakshak,
antkarra, reserve Bandi rakshak, mahila Bandi rakshak etc. now all posts will
be recognized as jail warder. Selection process of Jail
warder will be similar to constable recruitment of police of Up.
Previously government created 11000 posts of Bandi rakshak.
But maximum no of bandi rakshak now retired. Currently only 3000 posts are
filled of bandi rakshak. Due to lack of enough staff, jail department facing a
lot of problem in handling prisoner.
State government up, recently given their approval for the
Up karagar prashasan avam sudhar, Jail warder Niyamawali
Notification for inviting online application form will be
publish by the uttar pradesh police bharti avam pronnati board. Eligibility
will be same for the Up police constable. All recruitment process of jail
department constable and police employee will be done by UP PRPB.

Eligibility Criteria: Education qualification:
intermediate as on last date of application form submission. Appearing
candidates are not eligible.
DOEACC / NIELIT – O level Certificate
Only domicile Holder of Uttar pradesh, candidates can fill application
form.
Age limit as on 1 July – Male 18- 22
years Female 18-25
Physical Stander Test PST for Constable Recruitment in
Uttar pradesh police
General / OBC / SC Male candidates / Purush – Height 168 cm

Female / Mahila Weight 40 Kg, height 152

Selection process: written Exam and
physical test.
Selection of the eligible candidates will be based on
through the marks obtained by the candidates in academic records.
Merit list will be prepared as are following
Final merit list will be prepared on 300 marks. On the
basis of marks obtained by the candidates in written test.
Physical test: total 15 time of proposed no of
vacancy, candidates will be call for physical test.
PST for Male: Candidates are required to complete 4.8
Km race in 27 Minutes.
Candidates will 200 marks it the will complete race in 17
minutes. Maximum time will be 27 minutes. Minimum marks will be 120
marks.
PST for Female: 200 Marks for 2.4 Km race in 16
Minutes
