Department of irrigation, Government of Punjab published the official recruitment Notification for filling posts of Sub Divisional engineer Civil and Mechanical Trades . Application form is invited online from the eligible candidates. All eligible candidates can fill application form online at the official website of irrigation department. Selected candidates can fill application form in the pay scale 15600-39100 + 5400 , total no of vacancies are 100 including various categories. All eligible engineering graduate can fill application form from 18 January 2016 and last date of application form submission is 9 February 2016 .

Eligibility Criteria : age limit : 18 -37 for general and 18-42 for SC, ST, BC as on 1 January 2016
Education qualification : Graduation degree in civil of mechanical engineering .
candidate should have passed Punjabi upto Matric or its equivalent level.
Selection Procedure : selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the preliminary examination followed by mains examination . Selection will be strictly based on through the merit basis of written examination marks. All questions of pre test will be objective type and mcq based. Negative marking will be applicable in this examination. For each incorrect answer ¼ marks will be deducted as a minus marking. Minimum qualifying marks will be 25% of total marks of preliminary examination. Written test will be held in 3rd week of Feb , 201 6 (Tentatively).
