MAHATRANSCO, the Maharashtra state electricity transmission company limited published the official advertisement No 03/2017 for inviting online application form for various category of the post for AE Transmission and assistant engineer civil post. Total number of vacancy is 100 post including different categories. Selected candidates MAHA TRANSCO AE posts will be appointed in the pay scale of Rs 19110-840-23310-885-46320. MAHATRANSCO is the State Transmission Utility of Maharashtra and one of the largest transmission utilities in India. Selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the written examination.

Eligibility criteria for AE vacancy
Education qualification; graduation degree in Electrical engineer / or Civil Engineering / Technology.
Age limit – maximum 35 year for open category and 40 year for revered category candidates as on 15 November 2017.
Selection procedure: selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the online examination only. All questions of online examination will be objective type and MCQ based. The On-line Test will include test of Marathi Language.
While drawing selection list, out of 150 marks obtained in On-line Test will be converted into 100 marks Thus, select/wait list will be drawn out of 100 marks.
Negative marking will be applicable in this examination. For each incorrect answer ¼ marks will be deducted as a minus marking.

Application form fee – rs 700 for Open category and rs 350 for reserved category candidates. There is no fee for PWD category candidates.
Examination fee shall have to be paid through Internet banking / credit card / debit card etc.
