Odisha public service commission OPSC published the official advertisementNo 23 of 2021-22 for inviting online application form for the recruitment of Odisha Judicial service examination 2022. All eligible candidates can fill application form online at the official website of OPSC. Last date of application form submission is 27 January 2022 Last date of receipt of application form is 27 January 2022 Notification is published for filling total 53 posts of civil judge posts of different category. Selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the written examination preliminary, mains examination and personal interview test. Eligibility Criteria: age Limit - Minimum 23 year and maximum 35 year as on 1 august 2021
Education qualification: graduate in Law
Selection process for OJS: selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the written examination screening test, mains examination and personal interview test.
First of all Odisha lok sewa ayog conduct a preliminary examination for all categories of the candidates. Pre exam will carry maximum 100 marks. Total 90 minutes time duration will be given for attempting the question paper. All questions will be objective type and MCQ based. Questions paper will contatins100 questions from different subject. Negative marking will be applicable in this examination. For each incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted as minus marking.
Preliminary Written Examination:
(a) Constitution of India;
(b) Code of Civil Procedure;
(c) Code of Criminal Procedure;
( d) , Evidence Act;
(e) Indian Penal Code;
(f) Limitation Act;
(g) Transfer of Property Act;
(h) Contract Act;
(i) Law of Succession (Indian Succession Act and Hindu Succession Act);
j) Specific Relief Act.
Minimum qualifying marks for SC ST will be 35% and for all other category candidates it will be 40%.
Mains examination question paper pattern and syllabus: The main written examination shall be on the following two compulsory papers and three optional papers. Each of the compulsory subjects shall carry 150 marks with a duration of 2 ½ (two and half) hours and each of the optional subjects shall carry 150 marks with a duration of three hours.

General English- 150 Marks
(a) Translation and retranslation of ten lines each
(b) A short essay of about 150 words
(c) Precise writing consisting of 300 words
(d) 1 (one) passage of about 500 words with 5 questions
"Translation and re translation of ten lines each", there will be two passages, i.e. one
in English to be translated into Odia and another in Odia to be re translated into English
