The Army has soldiers who come from Class VIII/X backgrounds. There is a requirement to further enhance the education standards of these soldiers. Also certain specialist education / military training is imparted to the soldiers during their service for which we require MA/MSc/ B.Ed students who are well educated and have teaching abilities.
Indian Army Now published the official recruitment Notification for filling post of havildar education in the army education corps in science and arts stream. There are 397 posts for science stream and 238 posts for art stream all eligible candidates can fill application form Online at the official website of join Indian army.  Important recruitment details of 635 havildar education vacancy.

Salary for group X : Pay Band-1 (Rs 5200-20200) as per 6th Pay Commission. You will also be entitled to Grade Pay (Rs 2800) + Military Service Pay (Rs 2000) + Group ‘X’ Pay (Rs 1400) per month.
(b) Group Y :  (Bachelor degree without B.Ed) on completion of successful training you
will be placed in the Pay Band-1 (Rs 5200-20200) as per 6th Pay Commission. You will also be entitled to Grade Pay (Rs 2800) + Military Service Pay (Rs 2000) per month.

Eligibility criteria :  age limit  20-3\25 year as on 1 October 2016 (age between 1 oct  1991 – 30 sep 1996 ) for civil candidates  
Education qualification:  candidates must have working knowledge of both English and Hindi subject. 
Education qualification form science stream - M.Sc/ B.Sc/MCA/ BCA/ M.Tech/ B.Tech/ B.Sc( IT) with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology, Electronics and Computer Science.
(b) Arts Stream. MA/BA with English Literature, Hindi Literature, Urdu Literature,
History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Mathematics and Sociology

Physical stander: Height 162 cm , chest 77 cm , weight – 48-52 kg

Physical efficiency test : Physical Fitness Test. Physical fitness test will be as follows :-
(a) 1.6 Km in maximum 6 minutes and 20 seconds.
(b) Pull ups (Beam) - Minimum 6 pull ups.
(c) Zig Zag balance - Must pass.
(d) 9 feet ditch - Must Pass

Selection procedure; selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the written examination. Only those candidates selected in the screening test declared medically fit will be call for the appearing in the written examination . Written test will be held at HQ Recruiting Zones / IRO Delhi Cantt on 31 Jul 2016

Question paper pattern and other details as are following
Written screening test will Composed of two parts. Candidates will have to pass in both the parts separately. Science candidates will attempt Part-I and Part-II (Science), while Arts candidates will attempt Part- I and Part-II (Arts). Candidates must mention the stream opted for in the application.

(b) Qualifying in the Written Examination. Candidates will be required to score a Minimum of 40% i.e 20 marks each in Part I and Part II separately to be declared pass Depending on the stream chosen.
(c) Part-I (Compulsory for all Candidates). It will consist of 50 questions on General Knowledge and General English. (Max marks are 50 and pass marks are 20).
(d) Part-II (Science Stream). Compulsory for Science Stream candidates. This part will comprise of  Questions from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science. Candidates will be required to attempt all questions. (Max marks for Part-II (Science) are 50 and pass marks are 20).
(e) Part-II (Arts Stream). Compulsory for Arts candidates. This part will comprise of questions from Mathematics, History, Geography, Political Science and Economics. Candidates will be required to attempt all questions. (Max marks for Part-II (Arts) are 50 and Pass marks are 20).
(f) All answers will be marked on OMR answer sheet.

Teaching Aptitude Test/Interview. Candidates declared successful in the above written examination and placed in the merit list will appear for Teaching Aptitude Test/Interview to be conducted at AEC Training College & Centre, Pachmarhi (MP). Candidates qualifying in the Written Test, Teaching Aptitude  Test/Interview and placed in the merit list will be enrolled in the Army Educational Corps.
