Government of West Bengal has published Employment Notification No.- REC/2016/01 for  recruiting 421 vacancies for various posts through  the West Bengal (WB) enterprise and the state transmission utility (STU), West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited  (WBSETCL). Candidates will eligible if they are able to read, write and speak in BENGALI / NEPALI language and they can fill the online application form through the WBSETCL’s WEBSITE www.wbsetcl.in. One candidate can apply only for one post because Written Test for all the post will be held on same day, ............. Assistant Manager (Corporate Communication), Junior Executive je (F&A), Junior Executive (Store), Stenographer, Office Executive, Junior Engineer (E) Grad-II and Technician Grad -III) for different pay scale and eligibility Criteria. Assistant Manager(F&A)	06	Pay Scale of Rs 15600-39100/- + Grade Pay of Rs 5400/-	Candidates must be Graduate in any discipline and passed Final Examination from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or MBA with specialization in Finance from a recognized University /Institute duly approved by AICTE / IIMs / XLRI / IITB Schools.

Stenographer	28	Pay Scale of Rs 6300-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs 3600/-	Candidates must have the degree of Graduation at least with 40% marks. Candidates must be Proficient in MS Office. Candidates must be Proficient in short hand in English language with the speed of 80words per minute.
Office Executive	27	Pay Scale of Rs 6300-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs 3600/-	Candidates must have the degree of Graduation in any Discipline with minimum 50% marks in H S level. Candidates must have Computer Certificate regarding O Level Course of DOEACC/One Year course in Computer Application /One year diploma course in Modern office Practice recognized by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education. Candidates must have passed 12th in vocational stream from State Council of Vocational Training, Govt. of West Bengal.
Junior Engineer(E)Grad-II	160	Pay Scale of Rs 6300-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs 4400/-	Candidates must have the degree of Diploma in Electrical Engineering From recognized Institute.
Technician Grad -III	142	Pay Scale of Rs 6300-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs 2600/-	Candidates must have the degree of ITI under Director of Industrial Training Government of West Bengal in the trade of Electrician/ Wireman. Candidates must have Madhyamik or equivalent to it + Trade Certificate under NCTVT.

Eligibility Criteria for West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited 

Age limit should be according to the date 1st January 2022

Minimum age -18 years and maximum age -27 years

Allowance

Except Salary or Remuneration there are many allowance such as Medical Allowance, HRA, Electricity Allowance, Hill Compensatory Allowance, DA, Indoor treatment  for Self and for family member, Children Education etc. as per the norms of Company (WBSETCL).

Selection Procedure:

There are three categories for selection process, which are

Written test,  Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) /Stenography Test and Interview. Computer Proficiency Test /Stenography Test is for those candidates, who are applying for the post of Office Executive and Stenographer.

Question Paper Pattern and Syllabus for WBSETCL Written Exam:

There are 100 questions and Total marks are also 100 so, each question will carry one mark and English will be the medium of examination.  

Total time- 90 minutes, one- third will be negative marking. Question    Paper will be based on multiple choice questions (MCQ) type.

For the post of Office Executive and Stenographer

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• 40% for unreserved and OBC candidates
• 35% for SC and PH candidates
• 30% for ST candidates
• For English and Bengali / Nepali Test- 5 marks for all candidates
• For Interview -25 marks for all candidates

Examination Fee and Mode of Payment:

Candidates can pay the payment by both modes (offline/online) through SBI bank. Online payment is possible only through Debit Card or Credit Card or by Internet banking within 48 hours from filling the application form. And Application Fee is as follows

Rs. 400/- is for General, OBC and Ex-Serviceman categories and candidates, who are applying for the post Assistant Engineer(E), Assistant Manager(HR&A), Assistant Manager(F&A),Assistant Manager (Corporate Communication).

 Rs. 250/- is for rest of the post (excluding 1st four post).

There is no Application fee for SC/ST candidates.

There is no fee for PWD candidates if they are applying for the post of Junior Executive (F&A), Junior Executive (Store), Stenographer and Office Executive.
