South Western Railway, SWR, Railway Recruitment Cell RRC, now going to publish the official recruitment notification General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) Notification  for inviting application form for the posts of Assistant Station Master ASM posts. Application form notification will publish on 1st week of june on the official website of RRC Hubli. Railway and Rail Wheel Factory/Yelahanka (RWF/YNK), irrespective of the cadre in which they are working may register their applications for GDCE ONLINE. important recruitment details as are following

Eligibility Criteria: Education qualification: 
Graduation Degree from recognized University or equivalent. Diploma in Rail Transport & Management, Transport

Economics, Multimodal Transportation (containerization) awarded by Institute of Rail

Transport, Rail Bhavan, New Delhi will be additional desirable qualification

Only Regular employee of SWR Railway / RWF / YNK are drawing regular grade pay less the 2800 are eligible. RPF / RPSC / personnel are not eligible for this post.

Age limit : maximum age Limit for appearing in the GDCE will be 42 year for General candidates and 45 year for OBC category candidate and 47 for SC /ST

Selection procedure : selection of the eligible candidates will be done through the written examination , Psychological test, Medical Examination and verification of documents.

Question Paper pattern of ASM Written Examination: Questions of the written test will objective type and MCQ based Question paper medium will be English, Hindi and Urdu The questions are likely to include subjects

pertaining to General awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning. The question paper will have 100 questions, each carry one mark and the duration of the examination is 90 minutes.

There will be negative marking in written examination and marks will be deducted for

each wrong answer @ 1/3 of the marks allotted for each question.
